Biography

Elaine Wood hales from the Antrim coast town of Larne, hopefully there is more to come out of Larne than the boat.

Elaine’s first band was called Side Effects which she has many fond memories of, performing in many clubs around the province.

Elaine got a break back in 1997 with her hit song Come Home to Belfast which was written by Belfast songwriter James Gouldie.

She has also had the opportunity to record in South Pittsburgh Tennessee, her album entitled  One Good Reason

People will remember Elaine singing at the Waterfront Hall in Belfast where she sang the songs of Ruby Murray and Jo Stafford great nostalgia for those born in that great era for wonderful music.

Elaine has also teamed up with great music men like Curtis Magee and Steve Farlow performing many concerts around the province.
